Română · English

CakeKit 0.9.0 beta: Premium features can be reviewed locally, while accounts, OTP, Revolut, and Apple/Google purchase reporting are disabled. No real payment is accepted. Commercial sections describe the planned model for a later, separately authorised activation. This document remains under legal review and does not authorise a public production release.

The Romanian version governs the interpretation of the CakeKit documents, to the extent permitted by mandatory law. This English translation must describe the same product and responsibilities.

Who is responsible for CakeKit

Product and operator: TORTURI LTD, company no. 16972702, 112 Elstow Road, Bedford, MK42 9NL, United Kingdom, represented by Elena Codiță. TORTURI LTD sells CakeKit Premium, receives payment into its Revolut Business Merchant account, and provides product and purchase support.

Technically developed and published on the App Store and Google Play by: FUTURISTIC SRL, Romanian tax ID 49637694, Trade Register J08/607/2024, futuristic.ro. FUTURISTIC is the technical Apple/Google program participant and does not receive CakeKit Premium customer funds.

Your cake-business data stays local

CakeKit stores orders, customers, phone numbers, order dates, notes, quotations, cake payments, shopping lists, calculations, inspiration photos, and other business records on your device. CakeKit has no account for that information and does not sync or upload it to a CakeKit online database, archive, or media library.

The app has no advertising, advertising identifiers, or behavioural analytics in V1.

Manual backups

You choose when and where to export a .ckbackup file, including through storage providers shown by your device's system file picker. CakeKit does not receive or keep the archive. A backup can contain personal data and photos; protect it and delete copies you no longer need. Without an exported backup, TORTURI LTD and FUTURISTIC SRL cannot recover local data from a lost, erased, or damaged phone.

Purchase and restore data only

Free use needs no account. To buy, restore, or carry out a controlled transfer of Premium access, the minimal service may keep only the purchase-account email and verification, installation identifier or public key, platform and storefront, Revolut references, Premium entitlement state, refund or revocation state, legal/configuration versions, and technical audit timestamps. This service does not receive cake-business data.

Revolut, Apple, and Google

The one-time CakeKit Premium payment is processed through Revolut Hosted Checkout for the merchant, TORTURI LTD. CakeKit and its server do not receive full card details. Returning to the app does not prove payment; access is granted only after the server verifies a completed Revolut order.

For eligible external purchases, Apple may receive tokens and transaction reports required by the External Purchase Server API, including no-purchase reports, corrections, and refunds. Google may receive the external token and transaction report required for the EEA alternative-billing-only program. FUTURISTIC SRL remains the Apple/Google program participant and reporting party; TORTURI LTD remains the merchant and customer contact.

Retention, correction, and deletion

Local data remains until you delete it in the app, uninstall the app, or the operating system removes it. You may ask contact@elenacodita.ro to access, correct, or delete your purchase account. Records needed to restore Premium, handle refunds or disputes, prevent fraud, keep accounts, or meet mandatory Apple/Google reporting duties may be retained for the period required by applicable law or contract, then deleted or anonymised. The exact retention schedule needs legal and accounting approval before publication.
